THREE-WAY VALVE CONTROL ARM

For protection during shipment, the control arm is not connected to the valve. The control arm is

restrained by a tie wrap , which must be removed to permit connection to the

valve. Before operating the degasser, attach the control arm to the three-way valve as follows:

1.  Remove the 5/16-inch bolt and nut from the control clevis at the top of the valve.

2.  Remove and discard the plastic tie wrap retaining the valve control arm.

3.  Swing notched end of the control arm down into control clevis, and reinstall nut and bolt.

4.  Check for and remove any obstruction of valve’s atmospheric vent.

Low-speed desander desilter: it is also called “barite recovery” centrifuge. Its separating factor is 500~700. To low-density solids, its separating point is 6~10μm. To high-density solids, its separating point is 4~7μm. This kind of centrifuge can be used for recovering barite. Medium-speed Desander: its separating factor is 800 or so, solids of 5~7μm can be separated, so harmful solids can be separated from the mud, so that gravity and viscosity of the mud can be controlled. Most drill team will choose this kind of centrifuge at present. High-speed Desander: its separating factor is 1200~2100 or so, separating point is 2~5μm, it can remove harmful solids, control mud viscosity, it is usually connected with low speed centrifuge to make up a dual centrifuge system(See figure 3). In the system, low-speed centrifuge is installed at the first grade, barite separated from it is discharged into mud tank to be recovered, liquid is drained into a surge drum first, and then be sent by a pump to high-speed centrifuge; the solid separated from high-speed centrifuge will be discharged out of the tank and the liquid is back to recirculation system. “Dual Desander system” can remove harmful solids efficiently, at the same time, avoid wasting barite. Replacement screen should be selected specially from manufacturer 2 Replace shaker screen process To make screen installation and uninstall more easy, GNPS703 designed fast installation structure. The structure is a special type use tension wedge to fix screen. Refer to fig IV. The structure including shelve strip, desander desilter. The first screen installation, we should inspect the screen dimension, such as 1250±2mm, the tolerance can’t over it. After fixed rubber strip, then put screen, shelve strip from shaker back (drilling fluid input), and push wedge evenly on two sides use hammer to push or tension wedges, make two sides identical. Get wedge out, then bring out screen, check if rubber strips are sufficient; then put new screen on shaker deck and tension it steadily. There are lifter, pipe, lifter pipe, scale indicator, scale, connection plate, etc. When we make adjustment, handle wheel rotary by clockwise, shaker deck angle will be larger; handle wheel rotary by anti clockwise shaker deck angle will be less. Shale shaker output angle adjustment can be operated under running and off. When finish the shaker deliver it, the shaker deck is 0°. When user operate shaker, according to drilling mud property and flow rate on job site, and adopts same screen, the angle is higher, the treating performance will be better while treating capacity will be higher. When drilling fluid is leaking on shaker deck, increase deck angle can get rid of fluid flow away.
