This time, GN after sales team came to Niger for commissioning for our customer who has got ready for water well drilling. The full details of this system are listed as below.

1/ The drilling rig was purchased from Drillmec, an Italy brand.

2/ 1 set of double deck shale shaker with desilter cyclones, solids over 25microns will be separated out.

3/ 1 set of mud hopper for chemical mixing and bentonite addition, 

4/ 1 set of mud recycling system with one desiltering compartment and one mixing compartment.

5/ 1 set of clean tank used to store clean mud

GN Comes Back from 2015BeijingCIPPE with Great Success

2015 Beijing CIPPE(China International Petroleum and Petrochemical Exhibition) was held from 26th March to 28th March. As a resident in Beijing CIPPE, GN solids control showed its updated products with state of the art technology. The exhibition ended with great success, and GN has come back with great success. A tremendous amount of visitor came to GN booth to have a look and understand of GN product, and also extended their interest to cooperate with GN. Not only visitors from domestic market, but also a large number of foreign visitors came to GN.

This time, GN bring its a complete set of drilling waste management system with new and updated design; it includes a VFD control vertical cutting dryer for first stage treatment of the waste, and a VFD control decanter centrifuge for second stage treatment of the liquid discharged from the vertical cutting dryer; and a tank was divided into 2 compartments; one is for collecting liquids discharged from vertical cutting dryer where it will be pumped into decanter centrifuge for second stage treatment; another one is to collect the liquid discharged from decanter centrifuge, but it is rather small so a transfer pump is needed to transport the liquid,actually clean mud, to a storage tank or active tank waiting to be reused. The whole set of drilling waste management system is installed on a skid which is designed for transportation of the system. And the vertical cutting dryer is supported by a telescopic frame with which the vertical cutting dryer can be lifted higher than the tank so the liquid when discharge from the vertical cutting dryer can flow into the tank by itself. While the vertical cutting dryer needs to be lowered down for truck transportation. The positive pressurized VFD electric control box for the vertical cutting dryer and decanter centrifuge , and the decanter centrifuge are installed on the tank.

GN After Team Will Go Kenya to Do Commissioning for GN Mud Recycling System

This 500GPM mud recycling system for geothermal drilling to Kenya includes:

1 set shale shaker with low weir of 500mm which suits to small rigs with lower inlet flowline to the shale shaker;

1 set desander with 1 piece 10’’ cyclone to continuously process the mud after shale shaker,normally solids over 40 microns will be separated out. This desander requires a 30kw feeding pump.

3 sets mud tanks: one is mud treating tank, one is mud mixing tank, and another is mud storage tank.

6 sets mud agitator and 6 sets mud gun for: mud mixing tank and mus storage tanks both are equipment with three.

GN Solids Control Drilling Waste Management System with Dewatering Unit Working in Singapore

As an expert of solids control system for oil and gas drilling and drilling waste management system, GN solids control designed a new system with dewatering unit for a Singapore client. Recently, GN engineer just came back with the working video of this dewatering and drilling waste management system from Singapore. 

 

Firstly, the water slurry in TBM will be treated by a double deck shale shaker: the upper shaker deck mounted with 2mm opening screen is to separate coarse solids; the bottom shaker deck with API 20 screens. After processed by the shale shaker, the slurry will be pumped into the desander, particles over 45 microns be separated out, meanwhile there will be an underflow shaker to dry the down flow stream with screen of API 200. Before slurry being delivered to the decanter centrifuge there will be a stream of flocculant prepared by the dosing system combining with the slurry, and then the mixed slurry will be delivered to the big bowl decanter centrifuge for dewatering process. The fine solids will be separated, leading to clean water and dry solids. Working video is available in the below link: http://gnsolidscontrol.com/video/gn-solids-control-drilling-mud-dewatering-system-working-video
