1.1 India IMMK Chemtech IMMK Chemtech Private Limited  is a new chemical technology startup company providing innovative recycling technologies and Process Intensification based technology solutions. We are now developing a techno-commercial bid for a robotic – mechanised crude oil tank cleaning and sludge processing tender.

1.2 In this connection we are looking for a three-phase (sludge, water and oil) centrifuge separator. and we understand this equipment is within your product range. The sludge handling capacity shall be 60 M3/day. The compositions and properties of crude oil sludge vary and it generally contains cyclo-alkanes, poly-cyclic aromatics, asphaltenes and other refractory hydrocarbons with water and heavy metals.

1.3 Typically the sludge consists of Oil 40-45%, Water 3-5% and Solid residue 50-55%.   The residue/ solid waste produced for disposal shall contain less than 10.0 wt% as oil in solid waste and recovered oil should have less than 4.0 vol% Base Sediment and/bottom solids and/bottom sludge and water (BS&W). The treated water shall consist of Oil less than 100 ppm, the oily water treatment equipment could be offered optionally if it is within your product range.

The dryer would be dewatering mixed raw wastewater from 2 sources: emulsion and resin production which has a sticky character. The TS is high (around 10%) but it is still flowable.VTS is 98% and 82%, which means the wastewater does not have much inorganic content. Overload and sludge blocking did not happen at the pilot test. Flocs were formed and sludge cake was produced. The filtrate of the emulsion waste was pinky (dirty) We assume that this could be improved by polymer dosing adjustment.

2.1Brief introduction

Sludge vacuum pump, also named as solids transfer pump. It is a type of pneumatic pump that sucks the material with vacuum produced by air operation, and then converts to positive pressure for discharging.Most of the solids, sludge and liquid could be transferred by using this pump. With special structure design of no rotating parts in the cavity, it can be used at tough environmental with high working performance and less maintenance. The pump can transfer material with high gravity and high density, solids content max.up to 80%. It has following features: the high efficiency venturi device can produce vacuum up to 25 inch HG(Mercury Column). This is equivalent to vacuum of 85Kpa to suck the material. 2. Main separation treatment process of GN oil sludge treatment system

Main separation treatment equipment of the oil sludge treatment system is the three-phase decanter centrifuge GNLWS364-VFD. Its operation is based on the principle of sedimentation, that is, solid particles with specificliquid weight precipitate in a predetermined time. This principle can also be applied to two immiscible liquids with different specific gravity. When the material enters the high-speed rotating drum, the material rotates synchronously with the drum. Because of the different specific gravity, the centrifugal force is different. The solid particles with the larger specific gravity are subjected to the greatest centrifugal force, followed by the heavy phase liquid (such as water) and the light phase liquid (such as oil). So the centrifugal force is becoming less from outside to inside according to the magnitude of centrifugal force. A concentric solid layer and two liquid layers are formed. Solids are pushed out by the screw conveyor, and liquids are removed from theirrespective nozzles. Therefore, the application of three-phase decanter centrifuge can not only separate the solid in the material, but also separate the two-phase liquid with different specific gravity in the material, that is, Solid-liquid-liquid separation can be achieved.

    • Description of working principle

The bowl and screw of the decanter centrifuge rotate to the same direction with a certain differential speed. The material is continuously introduced into the screw shaft, and then flies to the bowl after its speed highly increased. Under the action of centrifugal force field, heavy solid phase is deposited on the bowl wall to form sediment layer. The solid is continuously pushed to the cone section of the bowl and discharged through the slag outlet. The light liquid phase forms an inner liquid ring, which is continuously overflow out of the bowl from the liquid outlets at the big end of the bowl Straight section of the bowl is the clarification area, and the cone section is the extrusion drying area.

2.2 T Series Decanter Centrifuge Features

The beach angle of the T Series dewatering decanter centrifuge is 8.5 Degree, which makes the decanter centrifuge cone section longer, that is, the drying and dewatering area of the decanter is longer, which is conductive to the dewatering performance of T series decanter centrifuge, and much drier solid cakes discharged. The beach angle of 8.5 degree will make the slag discharging more smooth so as to increase the amount of slag discharging.
